Billing¶
The Billing page is designed to offer functionality regarding the management of your billing subscription.
The Owner and the AdminWithBilling are the only roles able to make changes to the billing subscription.
In case you wish to delegate the Owner permissions to someone else, please send us an email to support@rungutan.com.
Subscription type¶
We offer 3 subscription types for which you can be billed either as Monthly or Yearly (almost 20% discount):
Micro
Standard
Enterprise
Each subscription allows a maximum limit of users per team and are billed as a whole, and NOT per team member.
There’s also the possibility of going for a Pay-Per-Test logic, in which there are no subscription costs and you’ll be billed only (and exactly only) when you run a test. Don’t worry, we’re fully transparent and we’ll notify about the test cost before it starts.
What are credits?¶
Credits are the quantifiable measurement of a test power.
In short, 1 credit is the equivalent of running 1 test for 1 minute, on 1 thread in 1 region.
The credits get “ceiled” to the closest integer, so if you’re running the test for just 58 seconds on 1 thread in 1 region, it will still count as 1 credit.

How do you compute costs for Pay-Per-Test?¶
We use the credit system to help us with that.
Each credit is assigned a value of 5 USD (converted to your local currency) and then your test is computed based on that, using the exact same structure of computation.
PS: The prices we set up are NET. Depending on your geographical location, you might incur extra charge for VAT costs.

Changing the subscription type completely¶
You can do that at any time of day and night, with 1 specific exception:

You cannot change from an actual subscription to the Pay-Per-Test logic while your current subscription is active. You’ll have to first cancel your existing subscription, wait for the billing cycle to end (so that you don’t lose any credits), and then convert to the Pay-Per-Test system.
Coupon codes¶
To use a Coupon Code, click on the Add Coupon link in the overlay payment, add your code and check the new price description.
VAT processing¶
Yes, we do support VAT.
All you have to do is click on the Add VAT number link in the overlay payment logic and fill in your details.
Subscription changes¶
We pro-rate everything, meaning that if you upgrade your subscription during the billing cycle, you will pay less at the next billing cycle.
Payment method change¶
Should you wish to change your payment method, all you have to do is click on the Update subscription link and follow the on-screen instructions.
Subscription cancellation¶
Should you wish to cancel your subscription, all you have to do is click on the Cancel subscription link and follow the on-screen instructions.
